you smile to hide the sadness,
You smile to hide the pain.
you smile to achieve gladness,
your smile was in vain.

you smile to try and stay strong,
you smile so no one’s to blame.
your smile was far too weak,
your smile has lost the game.

you cry on a friends shoulder,
You try so hard to explain.
No one knows how you feel,
Now you’re left to blame.

Bad thoughts enter your mind,
Each getting worse and worse.
you raise the knife to your wrist,
And do what you feel you deserve.

You bow your head in shame,
Living with it is so cruel.
You raise the gun to your head,
And with “goodbye”, you end it all.
